Keyword: khl, lokomotiv, revamping

The one year anniversary of one of the most horrible plane crashes that ultimately took out the entire roster for team Lokomotiv is right around the corner. It was a event that shocked not only the hockey world but the sporting world and left us with a memory we will never forget.

With beginning their slow come back and taking to the ice only 3 months after the incident team Lokomotiv is looking to compete this year and are taking all players into consideration. Joining the team will be NHL veteran Niklas Hagman who 770 NHL games under his belt since 2001, playing for the Florida Panthers, Dallas Stars, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and most recently with the Anaheim Ducks.

Their season will get underway before we know it and even thought it will not be the team of old it will have the old feel as the new Team Lokomotiv will play with that same passion and finesse the organization once possessed. A tribute game will be played to honor the past team and it will feature some big time names and will be a game you do not want to miss.
