Capitals Signs Forsberg?

That would be sick right if it was the one we were all thinking about but it’s not, its Filip Forsberg

Could you imagine if it was true that the Washington Capitals signed Peter Forsberg?  I would be completely amazed that he could even play.  Well sorry to disappoint you but the Caps have just signed Flilip Forsberg who was their top draft pick in the 2012 NHL draft to a 3 year entry level contract.  The Swedish forward will earn $832,500 annually at the NHL level or $70,000 at the AHL level.

Forsberg commented on the deal and to be honest with you I am pretty excited to see this guy get going in the league.

“They wanted to sign me and I wanted to sign with such a big organization and a good team,” Forsberg said, according to CSN Washington. “It was a dream come true. I got a good first feeling from the Capitals and I thought it was a good decision to get it done right away.”
