Detroit Red Wings make and offer for Nash that Columbus could careless about

Well it sure is getting down to the wire for the few big names that are left out there, as free agents are looking to get out of dodge.  Reportedly the Wings have put in a very generous offer, and one that the Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson could care less about.

In my opinion Howson is out of his mind, asking for multiple NHL forwards.  Relax guy, here take my first two lines for Rick Nash, give me a break.  How are you going to feel comfortable with Nash playing for your team knowing he does not want to be there one bit?   I get what you want guys, its a serious investment, but it’s time to budge a little here.

Nash’s list of six teams is now down to 5. After crossing the Wings off of it with this offer, I am going to go even further and say down to 4 if the Flyers ink the deal with Shea Weber.  New York, Boston, San Jose and Pittsburgh still remain and I don’t think at this point any of those teams are going to part ways with what they have established for this upcoming season.

Here we go again with the suspense.  Get a deal down already Howson.
