After a devastating hit in the Playoffs, Hossa is back training

Hossa, the Chicago Blackhawks forward who led with 77 points last season, is right on schedule with his road to recovery for a hit he took in the first round of the playoff that ended his season.   Hossa suffered a concussion when the Coyotes’ Raffi Torres left his feet to deliver the high, hard blow in the first period of the game on April 17.  How could you forget it, it was the hit heard around the league.

Although he has not hit the ice yet, Hossa has been undergoing strenuous off-ice conditioning  with good results.

”I’ve been able to train at a high level so far and that’s my goal. It will be a little different when I get on the ice and get hit or someone pushes me.”

Hossa is moving forward and putting things in the past, something his fellow teammate Kane should also be doing.  Can’t wait for this guys return to the Hawks.  Good luck with the rest of recovery!
