The Montreal Canadians are going to look to pitch Shane Doan

Well everyone else is doing it ,so why not jump right on the band wagon?  Shane Doan is just about finishing up his East Coast tour, exploring his options for a new place to call home.  Doan met with the Rangers on Friday and just recently made a pit stop in Philly for Geno’s cheese steaks.  It seems like Rich Nash and Doan have the same teams on the list: Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers,  Detroit Red Wings, and now the Montreal Canadians.

Doan stated that, while the Flyers are a first class organization, it may not be a fit for him and his family, plus the fact of who will take over the Coyotes.  With the recent bust on the Flyers picking up Shea Weber, this might get a little interesting.

Just to add a little more to his plate, he will now meet and speak with the Canadians to see if they can pitch him a sweet deal.  This all must be done in due time and organizations have been patient with him as he awaits what will go on with the Coyotes.  Montreal sounds great but I think New York sounds even better.  Great team, great coach, the big apple, amazing city, newly acquired Rick Nash and the other cast of super stars, and it’s not a bad place to raise your family.
