Looks like Dion Phaneuf has the last laugh on this one as him and Elisha Cuthbert are engaged

So it looks like Dion Phenauf has the last laugh on this one when it comes to Sean Avery’s Sloppy Seconds comment because he stepped up to the plate and is going to wife it.  Yes, he liked and he put a ring on it! According to multiple reports Elisha Cuthbert announced her engagement to the Maple Leafs star player Dion Phaneuf.

 

 

After dating Cuthbert since 2008, Phaneuf is taking the leap even after Sean Avery’s comments, come one you guys remember them right:

“I’m just going to say one thing,” Avery said before his Stars played Phaneuf’s Flames. “I’m really happy to be back in Calgary; I love Canada. I just want to comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about, but enjoy the game tonight.”
Looks like Phenauf gets  the last laugh, get to smash that the rest of his life and Avery’s out of a job.  Not a bad victory, I’d take it.
